2018 Asthma Self-Management

Asthma self-management is a vital component to reducing the impact of asthma on morbidity and quality of life. This presentation will identify the evidence supporting asthma self-management, explore barriers to effective self-management, and identify strategies to overcome these barriers. In addition, the presenter will address the respiratory therapist's role in the fostering of effective asthma self-management.
